Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy add on $15.00

Aromatherapy uses oils to obtain a desired effect. Lavender, ylang ylang, chamomile promote relaxation, eucalyptus alleviates sinus congestion, cinnamon increases blood flow, and citrus promotes energy, while peppermint decreases inflammation and alleviates headaches and stomach aches. The oils are mixed with the massage lotions and applied during a massage. 

WE USE YOUNG LIVING!!  Young Living is completely organic and uncut with any chemicals making them completely safe. They are also more potent and have more of an effect than other oils, making the massage even better.

Swedish/Relaxation Massage

Swedish Massage or also known as a relaxation massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Therapuetic or Medical Massage

Here at Trace's Massage we specialize in therapeutic massage. Therapeutic or medical massage is very similar to a deep tissue massage. It zones in on the deeper underlying tissues to help treat a specific condition or injury. This can be a localized massage or a full body massage. It treats several conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, strained muscles, sprained joints, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, shin splints, fibromyalgia, scar tissue, Sciatica, herniated discs, RA, migraines, neck pain, back pain and  arthritis just to name a few. 

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu is Japanese for foot pressure. This service is performed with the therapists feet while the therapist holds onto parallel bars above the massage table for balance. This pressure is usually a very deep pressure but can be adjusted to clients needs. The strokes are broad and long focusing primarily on the larger muscles. You leave having had a very deep massage with less pain and more relief.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Cupping Therapy

 Cupping is an ancient Chinese medicine for healing. You might have seen the circular bruises on Micahel Phelps. Yep, that's from cupping. So what is it and what does it do? You have what is called fascia surrounding every muscle fiber in your body similar to a coating around electrical wire...well sorta. It's clear and kinda sticky. what happens is injuries, repetitive movements or little movement causes the fascia to stick to each other when is supposed to slide. Cupping helps to break up what is called adhesions when this occurs improving range of movement, decreasing pain and detoxing the body from all the bad stuff to help blood flow and do what its supposed to do, heal and provide nutrients. So, the purple rings (not bruises by the way) are caused by suction or pressured cups. They are either glass, plastic or silicone drawing the fascia into them with pressure and working magic in the body. At TMT we use silicone and plastic pressurized by a cupping tool.

You may not have cupping if you have or are on: blood thinners, and type of blood condition similar to hemophilia, bleeding conditions, any skin conditions, DVT, bone fractures, kidney or liver conditions or cancer. Please consult with physcian and LMT to see if you are a candidate.

Certified Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.

Fertility Massage

This is a service offered to women only. It focuses mainly on the abdomen to increase blood flow to the reproductive organs, increasing the healing process, increasing the functions and well being of the reproductive system. I use a myofacsial release technique to help break up any adhesions or scar tissue which may inhibit proper functions. This is a great way to alleviate pain from chronic illnesses of infertility such as endometriosis and PCOS while increasing your chances of conception.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth ancient Chinese philosophy that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, asthma, COPD and depression.

Gua Sha Massage

Gua Sha massage is an ancient Chinese massage technique that uses a stone in a scrapping motion to promote circulation and healing. It can be done on the body or face. When done on the face its primary use is to lift and tone slowing the appearance of aging. It is also a great way to release the sinuses and help ease the pain of migraines. When used on the body it is a deeper pressure. A scrapping method is applied to help promote circulation, break up scar tissue, remove toxins and promote healing.

Graston Technique

Graston Technique is very similar to Gua Sha massage as it uses a metal massage tool in a scrapping method to break up scar tissue, promote circulation and healing.

Gua Sha face

Ancient Chinese medicine that uses a stone to help alleviate headaches and migraines. Can be used to slow the signs of aging.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Cold Stone Therapy

Cold Stone Therapy is a cold marble stone applied to usually an acute injury. It can be beneficial not only to recent injuries like strains and sprains but to treating conditions such as: migraines/headaches, whiplash, concussions, tendonitis, golfers/tennis elbow and fibromyalgia. 

Hot & Cold Stone Therapy

Uses both hot and cold stones in acute and chronic injuries or conditions. This works by almost like kinking  a hose and releasing it forcing blood into the injured area and promoting faster healing while relaxing the muscles.

reflexology add on

This is an add on service which will be incorporated into the massage. This includes the feet only and does not add time to your service. This can be added to any massage service.

Referral Program

Refer a friend and receive $10 off any service. Any referrals must keep their appointment in order for you to receive discount. Please inform therapist of those referred so they can keep track of credits. You do not have to be an established client to receive discount.

Military Discount/ Police/ EMS

If you are currently serving or have ever served in the military, police or EMS you will get $10 off any service. You will be asked to prove this to be true by showing an ID card. This is not combinable with the loyalty program or any other discount program. We thank you for everything you do for this country.
